We had SUCH a GREAT fourth of July. We went to our friend Hayes and Carrie's annual party, where we have gone the last couple of years. It was as always a fun filled event. Complete with tenderloin steaks and crablegs as the main dish, the food was out of this world, which nothing less is expected from Carrie's cooking. The men, well boys, funny how fireworks bring out the "boy" in our men, anyways, they all had fun lighting off the fireworks and didn't even try to take out the stop sign this year, which trust me, is very impressive! Rylan LOVED the sparklers, which impressed me equally since I was afraid of them up until last year! But he wasn't too keen on the fireworks. I think they were a little too loud for his liking. He cried and wanted his Dada so Ben couldn't let off any more fireworks but I think he enjoyed Rylan wanting him over me! We were actually able to see the Melbourne Causeways fireworks from her house which is nice b/c you get the show w/out the crowds. All in all it was a fun time to be had by all. It was great to share our independence with our friends and are so blessed to have our freedom and live in a country where so many are willing to fight for that for us!
